SEND
Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)
At Hannah Ball Academy, we are deeply committed to the principles of inclusion and equality for all children and adults. We strive to ensure that these values are at the core of our SEND practises.
Involving Parents and Pupils
We believe in the importance of involving parents and pupils in key decisions, as well as in the planning and reviewing of progress. Recognising that parents are the first educators of their children, we value their insights and collaboration in order to plan effectively. Our experience shows that early identification of SEND and timely support significantly increases the likelihood of success for our pupils.
Commitment to Expert Support
We are dedicated to providing expert support and resources tailored to the individual needs of children with SEND, enabling them to reach their full potential.
Whole-School Approach
Our approach begins with a commitment to a whole-school strategy for addressing the needs of children with SEND. We ensure that all staff members possess the knowledge and skills necessary to support every pupil, including those with SEND, throughout their time at our school.
